IUM has been managing neighbourhood and community schemes since 1980. In that time we have been able to refine our skills, with particular reference to training and legislation, to provide our clients with the best service. Community and neighbourhood schemes in New South Wales are usually based around a lifestyle, with, in many cases, an emphasis on leisure facilities and a particular theme or style of housing. There are no standard by-laws for community and neighbourhood schemes. The management statement of each of the schemes contains the by-laws which have been specifically tailored for that scheme. There is a large amount of work in managing community and neighbourhood schemes. It is prudent to employ the services of a qualified and competent manager who is specially trained in the legislation governing community schemes and is experienced in solving complex issues.
